How to read this index

A working record, not a product gallery.

The pages that follow are not a marketing catalogue. They are the public index of commissioned, completed installations carried out between 2017 and the close of 2024 by Art Projectors Studio and its in-house installation engineers.

Every entry below is a long-form case study: a full room diagram, the room dimensions in metres, the count and model of projectors used, the APS-Edge hardware-blend configuration applied to that specific wall, the calibration certificate issued on the day of first activation, and — where we are permitted to print it — a sentence from the curator or lead installer who commissioned the room.

The work spans biennials (Sharjah, Lyon, Toronto), the permanent collection wings of three regional art museums, festival commissions from Lisbon to Kyoto, and a small, deliberate handful of corporate atria where the brief asked for art rather than signage. Featured projects are rotated quarterly; the full ledger of 312 rooms is available on request to accredited institutions.

Two further entries — Toronto Biennial, 2024, and a corporate atrium in Frankfurt, 2021 — are available in the print edition of the index and on request to accredited curators.

We did not buy a projector. We bought a measured colour certificate, a wall map, a seven-day on-site commissioning window, and a named engineer who picked up the phone on the morning of the opening. Everything else is downstream of that list.

I have signed off on eight biennials. The Lyon reinstallation is the first time the installer's calibration notes went straight into the technical rider for the next artist. That is what the rest of the field should expect.
